In case your distribution does not provide pre-compiled packages for Ubuntu and openSUSE we have special repositories in place (see next section).Īnother option is to compile Widelands yourself. Widelands is packaged in all major Linux distributions. It is likely, that there are pre-compiled packages for your distribution. The first command will install an App-Bundle into your /Application folder, while the latter one will install Widelands into /usr/local/Cellar/widelands/ and link the executable to /usr/local/bin.
